Welcome to My Library Desk, a library management software application designed and operated by AdeptAbhi Software. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the My Library Desk mobile application ("App"), web dashboards, and related services. By downloading, registering with, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering a library account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are registering an account on behalf of a library organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

My Library Desk provides an cloud-based administration tool for managing library layouts, seats, lockers, timing shifts, user registrations, and membership payment ledger records. The services are provided "as is" and "as available", subject to operational modifications or updates launched at the discretion of AdeptAbhi Software.

3. Registration & Account Security

Currently, the My Library Desk application supports Administrator login only. Regular library members (students, visitors, and workspace subscribers) cannot log in directly to the mobile application. If a library member attempts to log in, the App will notify them that member logins are not supported in the current version of the App.

To use the administrator services, you must register an administrator account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration details.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials (passwords are encrypted on our servers).
  • Accept sole responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.

4. Billing, Fees & Subscriptions

Library administrators pay subscriptions based on package plans. Members pay dues directly to their respective library administrators. The billing terms are as follows:

  • Pricing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable unless specified otherwise.
  • Library Owner Responsibility: Library administrators are solely responsible for collecting fees from members, assigning shifts, and managing member payments. AdeptAbhi Software does not process member-to-library cash payments directly.
  • Dues Management: In-app payment logs are database ledgers manually updated by library administrators for record-keeping and member transparency.

5. User Conduct & Prohibitions

You agree not to misuse the App. Specifically, you will not:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of local laws.
  • Input fraudulent identity proof data or register fake accounts.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the database infrastructure.
  • Exploit system bugs to bypass locker/seat allocations or billing restrictions.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the App design, code, graphics, branding, and assets belong exclusively to AdeptAbhi Software. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the App for library management. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of our services or software.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdeptAbhi Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, seat booking records, or financial transactions arising out of your use or inability to use the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Uttar Pradesh, India.
